Sivan Peleg Minzberg, LPATherapist/Licensed Psychological Associate
Sivan was born and raised in Israel. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Haifa University, Israel, in 2011. Prior to this, Sivan obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Haifa University, Israel, in 2008. She became a Licensed Psychological Associate in Texas in 2022, and she is bilingual, fluent in both English and Hebrew.
Throughout her clinical training, Sivan has worked with individuals, couples, and has facilitated group work, with individuals ranging in age across the lifespan. She has experience in a variety of settings including non-profit organizations, university clinics, community mental health services, and Educational psychological services, where she has provided psychotherapy and administered psychological assessments.
Prior to earning her master’s degree, Sivan worked as a rehabilitation and care coordinator for adults living in sheltered housing who were facing mental health crises. Her extensive experience with this population taught Sivan about the complexity and fragility of the human psyche, as well as the basic and vital human need to be seen and understood. In these settings, Sivan strove to develop supportive and comprehensive therapeutic interventions for each patient, making sure to align each individual patient’s care plan with his/her/their unique diagnosis.
Sivan is passionate about providing long-term, psychodynamic psychotherapy to both individuals and couples. She seeks to partner with her patients to address a wide range of psychological issues, including: life crises, transitions, immigration, acclimation and adaptation, gender and sexuality, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, divorce and bereavement. Supervised by Jennifer Bradford, PhD.
