Jaylon Seastrunk, MA, LPCTherapist

Jaylon believes therapy should be a place where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. Whether clients are navigating the effects of trauma, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, identity concerns, or performance-related stress, he views therapy as a collaborative process focused on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating a more grounded and fulfilling life. Jaylon strives to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop resilience, and deepen their understanding of themselves.

Jaylon has experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, couples navigating relationship concerns, and athletes facing performance pressure, identity transitions, and emotional stress. He is particularly passionate about working with trauma survivors, couples, and athletes in both clinical and performance-focused settings. He recognizes that healing often requires both vulnerability and practical action and helps clients cultivate emotional clarity while developing tools for lasting wellbeing.

His therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Jaylon works collaboratively with clients to better understand their emotions, relationship patterns, and the different parts of themselves that emerge in response to trauma, conflict, and stress. He also incorporates mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and self-compassion practices to help clients feel more connected to themselves and their relationships.

Jaylon is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). His clinical interests include trauma recovery, interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, identity development, multicultural concerns, and sports psychology. Outside of clinical work, he enjoys writing, fitness, sports, and continuing to expand his knowledge within the field of psychology.
